Technology should never drive instruction.
It should be your reliable co-pilot,
helping you to clarify your thinking
so you can proceed with what you know
to be best for your students.
It should simplify, not complicate,
your planning, teaching and record keeping.
I taught 6th grade for 21 years, and during my last year of classroom teaching, I participated in a pilot project. My classes used Macbook Airs on a daily basis for 1:1 instruction with my Language Arts students.
I loved that experience so much that I decided to become an ITRT so I could help other teachers integrate technology into their teaching.
